radiospotting was a project that put localized radio broadcasts around the town of linz, austria, passerby’s could tune into the broadcast coming from a certain monument, intersection or piece of street by tuning their radios to the appropriate channel.
my contribution to the installation was a transmission from the nibelungenbrücke bridge. it used the local sound from the traffic on the bridge itself to generate an ongoing composition reminiscent of the sounds of rivers, creeks and rain. made in pure data.
